Meet the new Creator of Bitcoin — Bitcoin Statue

Creator Of Bitcoin

The faceless creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto will soon have a statue sculpted in his honor.

Hungary is the first country in the world to sculpt a statue of the creator of Bitcoin.

The statue will be displayed publicly to honor the crypto community in an effort to encourage and bring awareness to the decentralization of traditional institutions.

Also, to give power back to the people. The funds were made available by members of the crypto community in Hungary.

Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? (Creator Of Bitcoin?)

This is the question that has been on everyone’s mind for years, and no one has yet to answer.

Bitcoin was created in 2009, but Satoshi Nakamoto could be anyone from a man living in Japan or a group of people residing anywhere else around the world.

There are many speculations about his true identity, but it remains unknown.

Satoshi Nakamoto is known as the creator of Bitcoin.

The White Paper describing how Bitcoin works were published online under the name Satoshi Nakamoto (presumably a pseudonym).

Nakamoto’s work is a revolutionary innovation because it allows values to be transferred between any remote point in the world.

Between two or more users without the need for a third party (e.g. a bank) to verify the authenticity of the transferred value.

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade and don’t know what Bitcoin is, understand that it is a decentralized digital currency that is used to transfer money anonymously, without a third party.

Or better yet, it is used for day-to-day transactions to purchase goods.

The Bitcoin network was created in 2009, but there are no other official records of Satoshi Nakamoto ever being involved with it, besides the original whitepapers.

Despite not knowing what Satoshi looks like, in a way, we are all Satoshi. Because we are carrying the torch in that we’re mining, using, and developing Bitcoin.

Helping in the decentralization process worldwide.

Bitcoin is characterized by being a decentralized and independent network. That has been the thought process behind this movement.

We are all Satoshi!

The sculpture will be in charge of two artists, Réka Gergely and Tamás Gilly, while the idea was conceived by András Györfi, the editor of the Hungarian crypto website Kripto Akadémia

Since we are all Satoshi, the statue is said to have a reflective or mirror-like face that will allow anyone facing the statue to see themselves.

Signifying the fact that Satoshi’s identity is irrelevant and that we can all become Satoshi by building technology, forming a community, or simply using Bitcoin.

The Statue will be displayed in Graphisoft Park, Budapest, next to the statue of Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple.

If everything goes according to plans, the general human-height sculpture will be made of aluminum bronze.

The project is being funded by the crypto community in Budapest.

With help from other organizations, 3 million Florins were collected so far. Which is the equivalent of 10.556.94 (US Dollars)

Creator of Bitcoin

With this type of initiative, we will see more exposure to cryptocurrencies, whether for better or worse.

All in all, a cryptocurrency is a digital currency, a form of payment used to buy goods, services, and much more.

Just like the Dollar, the Euro, the yen, and many other currencies out there.

However, with cryptocurrencies, there is no need for a third party to monitor or oversee the transaction. Which makes for faster and safer (based on the technology) transactions.

So one could argue that cryptocurrencies are here to stay and that they are leading us towards a promising and safer future.

As long as we can get all the other metrics under control, eg. transaction time, the amount of energy used for these transactions, or during mining.
