Google Bringing ChatGPT to Chrome?

If you have been living under a rock, here’s some news for you.

Microsoft demoed their latest Bing update last week and they showcased their new ChatGPT-powered Bing features, as well as the experience, which was pretty convincing.

After the demo, Microsoft encouraged users to sign up on a waitlist to try out Bing with ChatGPT. 

So… Is Google bringing ChatGPT to Chrome?

The big question is whether users will switch over to Edge just to use all the ChatGPT features.

Well, not quite yet…

In a tweet, Microsoft VP and CMO Yusuf Mehdi stated there are “multiple millions now on the waitlist.”

But the company plans to scale the launch to millions of people in the coming weeks.

At the moment, you can only use Bing with ChatGPT in the Edge browser, and if you try to use it in a different browser like Chrome, you’ll be prompted to switch to the Edge browser.

However, Medhi said that the feature will eventually be available on all browsers, including Chrome, Opera, and Firefox.

There’s no word on when this restriction will be lifted, of course.

But we have to admit that it’s pretty promising knowing what the developers at Google could create with ChatGPT features considering what they’ve already done with Google Chrome.

To answer your question about whether or not Google is Bringing ChatGPT to Chrome, the true answer is that we don’t know just yet, but the way things are going, this might just be inevitable.

It is worth noting that Google did introduce Google Bard, which is their latest experimental AI-powered chatbot that can respond to various queries and requests in a conversational manner.

Simply put, this is Google’s answer to ChatGPT. So who’s to say they will be incorporating ChatGPT into their browser instead of Google bard?

It is way too early to tell… At least for now.
